Intro to Crystal Bowls with Amanda Baird IN PERSON - SEDONA, AZ on May 17

This special event will be offered in person in Sedona, Arizona

Have you been curious about playing crystal bowls? Join Amanda Baird, Director of the Advanced Institute of Sound, for this introductory workshop. This course is a fun way to learn about sound and how to play crystal bowls for meditation, yoga class, or your own personal practice.  No experience is necessary.

Curriculum:

• Experience how sound created with crystal bowls affects the physical, energetic, and light bodies.

• Explore how crystal bowls work with color, sound, and prayer.

• Understand resonance, entrainment, and dissonance.

• Discover the relationship between brain waves, sound waves, and frequencies.

• Learn best practices for technique and intention when working with crystal bowls.

• Develop best practices for playing during a yoga or meditation session.

  
  

Participant Outcomes:

• Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how to connect with and play crystal bowls as a personal practice, in a yoga class, or during a sound meditation.

• A clearer understanding of how sound affects individuals differently.

• Knowledge of what to look for when purchasing a crystal bowl.

• Practical applications of crystal bowl playing and strategies for advancing one’s practice both personally and professionally.

  
  

Yoga and sound teachers will receive a CEU certificate for a 3-hour workshop through the Advanced Institute of Sound.
