As the Harvest Moon rises—radiant, round, and brimming with autumn’s promise—it lights the threshold between seasons. This moon is a lantern for gratitude, illuminating all that we have gathered, all that we have become, and all that we are ready to let go of.

On this evening of luminous sacred sound, Silvia Nakkach, beloved master of voice and devotional chant, will lead us into the heart of the moon’s energy. With her guidance, the music becomes more than melody—it becomes medicine. The voice entwines with tones and harmonics that move through the body like a river, clearing and nourishing as they go.

This is not a typical concert; it is a journey. A weaving of vibration and silence where the mind may rest, the heart may soften, and the spirit may remember its vastness.

About Your Facilitator:

Silvia Nakkach - A Grammy-nominated musician and pioneer in sound transformation and shamanic music, Silvia is an award-winning composer, author, recording artist, and former music psychotherapist. While on the faculty at CIIS, she created the first Certificate on Sound and Voice in the Healing Arts offered by an academic institution. 

As the founding director of the international Vox Mundi School of Voice, she leads training in the Yoga of the Voice across the US, Europe, Japan, Brazil, and India. A devoted student of North Indian classical music for 35 years, she studied under the late Maestro Ali Akbar Khan and other Dhrupad masters. Silvia has released 16 albums and authored Free Your Voice (Sounds True).
